September, 2003 - Bondi Junction
It was a new concept, but I got comfortable with it fairly quickly. After all, the cigar is an instrument of leisure. Walking out of the tobacconist with cigars in hand I see a black, sported up couple walking in my direction.
The male says, "Aiight fuck it then," as the female leans against the railing. He walks into where I had just left. Although it was cold and no-one was really in the "mood," the female for some reason gave me the eye.
This woman has blown up beyond recognition in recent times. She's on the recent cover of my favourite rag (for some reason its her instead of Alicia Keys), and gets thrashed by my sister on the stereo whenever she gets the chance.
I used to think she can sing, but now I don't know. These days she lacks the grace, harmony and subtle sexual appeal which got her here in the first place. She totally defies the saying, "What you did to get there, you have to do to stay there."
Maybe Beyonce is popular because she breaks the rules. Maybe these are rules which the general populace wanted to be broken. She has her rule for sexy: "Being comfortable in your own skin." Ah, I getcha. Thanks for the props.
Still, I've gotta wonder what kind of relationship her and Jay-Z (the man walking into the tobacconist) have. Exactly how open is it? Are they looking for a different partner on every continent, both at the same time?
Maybe the music industry artists are just looking for a more Machivellian way of doing things. Conquer, don't divide.

Japanese Jazz Funk, the title said.
What did I expect?
Some new technological whizz-bang audio you-tube arrow. One to depress and listen to this new sound...
hmmm, something else did I find instead...
but I am not dissapointed,
because I have had a good read,
and expanded your click count
and also my head.
Cheers
